USMS is organized in 52 geographic areas of the United States which are managed by the Local Masters Swimming Committee (LMSC). The Potomac Valley LMSC is responsible for The District of Columbia, the Maryland counties of Montgomery and Prince Georges, and the Virginia counties of Arlington and Fairfax and the Cities of Alexandria, Fairfax, and Falls Church.

The next PV LMSC Board meeting will be scheduled sometime this summer.

Bylaws

Our bylaws were first adopted sometime in the 1980s. Unfortunately we do not have the exact date let alone year. If you are reading this and have information that can help us find the answer to the mystery please send an email. The Bylaws were later amended in 1989, 1993, 2006, 2015, and 2017.

Grievance Procedure

This address contains all of the club representatives + officers. This is a closed email list — you can send an email to the list only if you are on the list. These messages may not reach Unattached swimmers. Please contact the registrar if you need to update your email address subscription on this list.

board@pvmasters.org
This address goes to all of the PV officers. Anybody may send a message to this email list. Messages not sent from a PV officer alias will be held for approval. This email list is used for communication within the board but is configured as open for all members to ask questions or pass along a messages to the board.The Potomac Valley LMSC Registrar can send out an email “blast” to every Potomac Valley swimmer currently registered with an email address on file. These notifications are kept to a minimum and are reserved for major announcements. Contact the Registrar if you need this service.
